With coldstores
in Vlissingen (Flushing). Rotterdam (three locations). Ijmuiden,
Elst and Alesund (Norway), Kloosterboer disposes a total storage
capacity of 1,500.000 m3. The coldstores in Flushing, Rotterdam,
Ijmuiden and Alesund are ideally situated on the waterfront, immediately
accessible to deep water.
Apart from
storage own stevedoring and ship agency services are provided in
Ijmuiden and Flushing. As far as road transport and distribution
is concerned Kloosterboer International Forwarding B.V. takes care
of all (container) transports and the same service can be offered
for sea transport by Temptrans B.V.
Over five
million tonnes of food-related cargo is handled per year; food such
as meat, fish, butter, fruits, concentrates, peanuts, milk powder
and sugar.
All Kloosterboer
locations are approved EC inspection points.
